At Pinnacle Sports your
bike, snowboard or Skis will be treated like it is our
own. Whether you’re a beginner or expert, your equipment
needs to perform and function properly. We have 5 Ski,
Snowboard and Bike Technicians on staff to take care of
all your repair and customization needs. We offer the
following services;
Snowboard
and Ski
Basic
Sharpen and Wax-$45.00
We start by hand sharpening
your base and side edges with a World Cup File. We then
de-burr all edges, clean your base with a biodegradable
cleaner, roto brush with a base prep nylon Red Creek
brush, and warm up your base to open up the pores. Your
board is then hand wax ironed at medium heat with a
hydrocarbon specific snowboard wax. We finish by
scraping off all excess wax, eliminating all uneven and
high spots. We finish by Roto Brushing and Polishing
with a Horsehair Red Creek brush.
Rail or
Jib Specific Tune up- $45.00
We lightly Sharpen all
edges and remove any rust, oxidization or damaged steel.
We then put a negative bevel on the edge. This ensures
the rider will have a smooth entry, slide and transition
off of any rail and not hook their edge and face plant
in the process. We finish off the tune the same way as
in our basic package.
Racer
Service Tune and Wax- $60.00
In addition to our basic
sharpen and wax process, we bevel or customize the
sharpening of the edges depending on the skier or
boarder’s specific needs. We then do a base prep wax
layer, a second wax layer and finish with a final layer
of temperature specific Vauhti Flourocarbon wax. We Roto
brush and finish after each layer. These Flourocarbon
waxes are absolutely the fastest on the planet when the
temperature, base pep and finishing is done properly.
You skis and board will out glide and out perform both
your competition and fellow riders on the hill or Race
Day.
Binding
Installation- Anywhere from Free to $30.00
Whether it’s a custom set
up for your snowboard or a Park specific center mounted
twin tip binding install, we’ve got you covered. We
customize the binding, to the boot, weight and skill
level of the rider. We can also help you find the best
riding stance and set up for your individuals skill
level and needs.
Base and
Edge Repair- Price Varies Depending on Damage
After you have beaten up
your equipment, visit Pinnacle to resurrect your
snowboard or ski’s damaged base or edges. We can fill in
base gauges and repair most sidewall damage.
